Jane’s House offers regular workshops that facilitate the learning process for both students and teachers alike. We encourage you to experience the additional support that these teachings have to offer.
Wisdom in Motion with Joe
Mondays at 7pm, beginning January 6, 2025
This class will take you on a transformative inner journey through the ancient teachings of Yoga. In January, practices will focus on key principles of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, including a brief introduction to this classical text, the Eight Limb Path, Yoga’s ethical practices, and more. Join Joe in January and illuminate the path of inner peace and self-discovery.

Connect with Compassion with Linda

Our weekly communication practice returns! Join us for Connect with Compassion, a conscious communication practice based on the principles developed by Marshall Rosenberg. If you are new, come learn and practice skills that will bring your communication to life. If you are experienced, deepen your own practice and share your experience with others.
We will be using Marshall Rosenberg’s book Nonviolent Communication: A Language for Life as our text for study and practice. Our aim is to cover the book together, one chapter each week. Although it is ideal to study each chapter in sequence, you are free to participate as and when you can.

Vision Board Journals
Saturday, January 11, 12-2pm
Join us for Crafternoon (an afternoon of crafting) where we'll be creating vision board journals! This creative and inspiring class is designed to help you visualize your goals and dreams through the art of collage. All supplies will be provided and feel free to bring any craft materials you already have at home, too. Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with a selection of teas and snacks to keep you energized and inspired throughout the class. Whether you're looking to manifest your future or simply enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon, this class is perfect for you!

Beginning the New Year with Peace
Mondays, January 13, 20 & 27
Join Andrea for a Peaceful New Year themed 45-minute beginner yoga class created for children ages 8~13. Our class is focused on yoga and mindfulness to improve both physical and mental health. Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and mindfulness. Children 5-7 years old are welcome to join when accompanied by an adult.
3 Class series: $30 One adult can join for free.
This class is complimentary for Foster Families.
Introduction to Hatha Yoga with Christy

Are you new to yoga? Returning to yoga after time away? Ready to revisit or fine-tune the basics in your yoga practice? Then this series is for you!
Join Christy to focus on the foundation of yoga practice including awareness, breath and alignment. The series aims to teach you basic tools for a good foundation that will carry you into the next stage of your yoga practice.
Each class will set aside time for in-depth instruction and questions and answers in addition to practicing yoga postures. We will cover how to access and activate muscles to support you in yoga postures so that they feel stable. We will also cover how to practice postures in a way that will challenge you while allowing for ease.

Bright Beginnings: Out with the Old, In with the New

Open your mind and heart to new possibilities and beginnings as your body deeply relaxes and releases what no longer serves you. Join Teresa this month as she guides you through restorative postures that are supported and deeply relaxing followed by a guided inquiry that takes your awareness to individual parts of the body and then unifies them into a felt whole experience. Yoga Nidra is known as “yogic sleep” and offers benefits of deep rest.

Soft Tissue, Myofascial Release

Join Tim for an impactful experience in releasing the fascia and creating length to the muscle tissue beneath! This class uses soft tissue rolling balls, foam rollers and additional support, such as blocks, blankets and the Yoga Wall!
