Young Yogis with Andrea
Exploring Balance & Strength
Mondays, May 5, 12, and 19, 6pm
This month, our Young Yogis will explore strength and balance! Join Andrea for a 45-minute beginner yoga class created for children ages 8~13. Our class is focused on yoga and mindfulness to improve both physical and mental health. Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and mindfulness. Children 5-7 years old are welcome to join when accompanied by an adult.
3 Class series: $30 One adult can join for free.
This class is complimentary for Foster Families.
Wisdom in Motion with Joe
The Yoga Sutras
Mondays at 7pm, May 2025
Wisdom in Motion is a class that will take you on a transformative inner journey through the ancient teachings of Yoga. In May, practices will return their focus on diving more deeply into key principles of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, including the Eight Limb Path, Yoga’s ethical practices, and the roadmap to the five layers of awareness. Join Joe in May and illuminate the path of inner peace and self-discovery.

Pilates and Yoga Fusion
PiYo combines the practices of Yoga and Pilates to offer the mindfulness and balance of yoga with the core strengthening and muscle group burn of Pilates. This dynamic fusion class will highlight the similarities and differences between the two practices - and expand your own - by challenging the strength of the whole body and utilizing the breath in new ways.
Gentle PiYo is ideal for all students. This practice will help increase core and body strength, improve mobility, flexibility, and enhance posture. Most of this practice will be taught on the floor, laying down or seated. This class is designed to be safe for all bodies, including those with spinal issues like osteoporosis and bulged/herniated discs, and prenatal and postpartum women.
Gentle PiYo on Fridays at 3.30pm on May 2, 9, 23, and June 6
Intermediate PiYo is ideal for intermediate students, and will help to establish proper core engagement, spinal alignment, and hip stability. This practice will start close to the ground and build to a bigger movement, all incorporating strength around the spine. The series will gradually introduce classical movements from pilates, then meld flow with yoga. This class is *NOT* suitable for those who are pregnant, have osteoporosis, or spinal issues such as herniated or bulged discs.

Qoya Inspired Movement is a soulful embodiment practice based on the idea that through movement, we remember—remember that, like nature, our essence is wise, wild, and free. Bodywork Sessions with Jessica Zerr
May 28 - June 1
Bodywork restores skeletal, muscular, and energetic alignment, creates flow and ease for organs, muscles, and nerves, and deepens respect and understanding of one's physical, emotional, and energetic capacity to heal. It is a process of locating the source of pain and working toward long-term healing employing more intense, sensation-full myofascial corrective techniques to much more subtle craniosacral and lymphatic systems. Much of this work can be done through clothes if you prefer, so please wear flexible, non-compressive clothes. Please come showered.
Bio: Jessica Zerr is a trauma-informed practitioner and licensed massage therapist who has been offering bodywork since 2010. She approaches every session with compassion and a commitment to creating a secure space by actively listening to you, your body, and your goals. Jessica specializes in corrective myofascial work, lymphatics, craniosacral therapy, postpartum recovery, and also works with infants and children. She is apprenticed in the Berry Method of bodywork, which accesses the body's own intelligence to unravel painful patterns of dysfunction and inspire the utmost health.

Join Linda for the return of Connect with Compassion this summer, a weekly practice group for the principles of Conscious Communication, based on the principles developed by Marshall Rosenberg.
This practice group is intended for anyone, regardless of prior experience. If you are new to this practice, enjoy learning life-giving communication skills. If you are a seasoned practitioner, enjoy sharing your experience with others and deepening your practice.
This summer, the text for study will be What We Say Matters by Judith and Ike Lassater. Together, we will go through this book, one chapter each week. Although there is much to be gained through studying each chapter in sequence, feel free to drop in at any time.

Join Christy to focus on the foundation of yoga practice including awareness, breath and alignment. The series aims to teach you basic tools for a good foundation that will carry you into the next stage of your yoga practice.
Each class will set aside time for in-depth instruction and questions and answers in addition to practicing yoga postures. We will cover how to access and activate muscles to support you in yoga postures so that they feel stable. We will also cover how to practice postures in a way that will challenge you while allowing for ease.

Combine the gentle relief of nerve flossing with the deep rest of restorative yoga. Nerve flossing —also known as neural gliding— uses gentle, guided movements to mobilize the nerves and relieve pain and tension throughout the body. The class begins with nerve flossing techniques designed to calm the nervous system and release built-up stress, then transitions into a supported restorative yoga practice to promote deeper relaxation. Join Kenzie to explore soothing practices that target areas of tension in the shoulders, neck, hips, and back. This class is gentle, accessible, and safe for all bodies.
