A yoga practice can be a wonderful place of self-exploration. When I allow my yoga mat to be my mirror, it reflects the different ways I approach and see the world.
My journey with yoga over the years has deepened my sense of self compassion and commitment; it has also allowed me to see many of my blind spots. As a yoga teacher, I invite my students to "see" themselves through the different poses, and to cultivate a self-awareness that is easily lost in our everyday life activities. This "seeing" changes and evolves with each new practice; it can also become a foundation that influences other areas of life.
I received my 200 hour RYT certification in 2012 in Dynamic Hatha Yoga. My teachers are Robin Buck and Christy Wetzel of Jane's House of Well-Being, and Matthew Krepps of Circle Yoga Shala.
