He's been practicing yoga at Jane's House since 2005 and completed his certification in early 2009 after completing a year of training, assistant teaching and substitute teaching.
He currently works full time and owns a small IT and Web Design business, so he understands the real life benefits of a good yoga practice and strives to pass on those benefits in each class.
His previous experience in martial arts provides a solid basis for understanding mindfulness, form and function important to yoga. In his classes, he looks to incorporate strength and flexibility through stable grounding in the basics. In keeping with the Dynamic Yoga Method, Mike looks to tailor each class to the level of individual present and honors the uniqueness that each person brings to practice to help them grow on their yoga path.
